Teacher Mentorship Programme

Many teachers despite the training provided struggle with implementation in the classroom and require individual support for effective teaching and learning. They struggle to amend their existing teaching methodologies and implement new strategies consistently.

The mentorship programme begins where the teacher workshops ends. We guide and support either individual or small groups of teachers to:

• consistently implement the strategies and ideas from the workshops

• help replace old ineffective practices with new ones

• plan their lessons

• ensure differentiated instruction

• using a variety of resources

• incorporate experiential learning

• manage their time effectively

• create an enriching learning space

• plan student assessment

• Identify their learning needs     

The mentoring programme involves close observations and feedback sessions of individuals and small groups of teachers over a period of time.
